Do you think if this was added would it make the medic more powerful in combat?(And Adavanced stats)
Now I play medic and I know the pain of losing uber right as you hit that last 30 seconds. But Ive seen some good ubers gone bad by new players or just a good pyro.So if say the stats added a radius of "Biowaste" and all objects that enter not only take damage but do -15% less damage to medic and heal target.
Here would be the problem for valve to add this though.
New medigun=New style of gameplay=Somewhat OP untill nerfed later or not nerfed ever.
My best evidence of this is the quick fix. Yay faster uber rate! -_- no overheal! MERLD (Spy thing) Hey wait the vaccinator has overheal and charges faster! WOOOOOO Next thing you know the weapon is not as popular as intended.

Anyway I got a bit off topic if added would this be "OP"?

it would add a defense element to medic while he's defenseless (using the medigun), so I think that adding this item with similar stats would somewhat help a medic surviving near the frontlines... or even act as a spy defense, kinda like the huo-long heater.

I mean, the concept is cool, and since I play medic as well, I'd like to see something in game. I just dn't know how balanced something like this would actually be.

Well a defensive item for the medic to help himself like what Namida said would help me a lot. And help people play more med! Somthing we all want!

A medigun that creates a constant buff/debuff in a small range while healing a target would indeed be interesting. It wouldn't even need a uber mechanic.
And hey, imagine if you heal an disguised enemy spy you'd sap his health instead of healing him.

That would be amazing if it sapped spys health because it would make a medic like a pyro! (In a way)

I find it amusing if it medical beam would damage enemies going between it from you to your heal target

I got a funny stat XD 8x Heal beam range -20 Dam per second if ememy goes though it :P I agree with ya abagone

8x is way too much, you could almost (if not really) heal a teammate on 2fort from your balcony while he stands on theirs

Biowaste Pump. I don't know if the creator came up with any stats while he was making the weapon, but a name like that suggests properties akin to the crusader's crossbow: this medi gun, apart from healing teammates, should be able to damage enemies as well, probably applying some sort of after-effect.

so, either this medi gun gives the medic a defensive area around him, like the huo-long heater does for the heavy, or the medi-beam is able to damage enemies.

also, guys, we didn't discuss about the uber. what kind of uber should this medi gun give?

Ya sorry about 8x but somtimes I think it would be nice because pyros arent the ememys of a good medic. Its corners!

Just a idea
+45 Radius of "Biowaste"
-15% heal during uber
+75% Charge rate.
Like the vaccinator just defensive.
Biowaste DPS. 35-72
Reg biowaste is Same radius of Hou-long Heater.

so, I've been thinking for a while. my ideas for its stats would be:

- the medi gun deployes a "green fog ring" around the player, which damages enemies passing through it (DPS similar to huo-long heater).
- +25% uber charge rate.
- when uber is activated, team mates near the player get a defensive buff (kinda like the batallion's backup does), and enemies near the player get a defensive de-buff, so... let's say, they take minicrits. the area of the enemy de-buff is equal to the area of the defensive team buff.
- also, when uber is activated, you can't overheal, but you can heal the target 50% faster.

maybe some of this stats are not that good/balanced. but I like some of the ideas that coul be implemented, like the buff/de-buff area of effect. what do you say?
