Tyranids
Synapse: Most Tyranids suffer a penalty to hit when not near a unit with the synapse ability. Units with synapse are Broodlord, Hive Tyrant (extended range), Maleceptor, Tervigon, Tyranid Warriors. All buildings including towers have synapse as well.

Shadow in the Warp: the presence of the tyranid disrupts psychic abilities, meaning Farseer Macha, Librarian Jonah Orion, Weirdboy Zappnoggin, and Wyrdvane Psykers lose their powers near certain tyranid units. Those units are the Broodlord, Hive Tyrant, Maleceptor, Tervigon, and Tyranid Warriors.

Line Units:

Hormagaunts (boyz): Basic melee units with scything talons.

Termagants (shoota boyz): Basic ranged units with fleshborers.

Genestealers (nobz): Fast melee units with rending claws.

Tyranid Warriors (meganobz): Ranged infantry with devourers. Have Synapse and Shadow in the Warp.

Gargoyles (deffkoptas): Flying infantry with fleshborers and blinding venom.

Hive Guard (killa kans): Heavy infantry with armor piercing impaler cannons.

Biovore (big trakk): Large creature with spore mine launcher.

Venomthropes (tankbustas): Heavy infantry with toxic lashes.

Carnifex (mad dread): Large melee creature with massive scything talons.

Elite Units:

Broodlord (warboss gorgutz): Tyranid leader with monstrous rending claws, synapse, and shadow in the warp. Brood telepathy provides a further accuracy bonus to nearby allies.

Hive Tyrant (big mek wazzmakka): Tyranid leader with massive scything talons. Has shadow in the warp, plus a larger range synapse.

Exocrine (big trakk): Large artillery creature with a bio-plasmic cannon.
