I started noticing, while building a house on Mars, that all NPC ships spawn moving generally away from my base. There's no fly-overs, they spawn with their tails towards my base and move off in to the distance. Even Reavers do this. Previously I've had the experience that this is more random and usually they spawn heading somewhat towards me/my base. It's like something regarding the spawning is inverted.

This is offline game, so not on server and no other players. Yes I have lots of mods installed.

I was wondering if this is because of that specific spot on the planet (relatively flat with one mountain visible but far enough to not matter in regards to spawning), or is something wrong with the spawning? Do you have any suggestions about where to look and/or poke?
