Flamethrower not working *Possible solutions* *Edit as of 5/31/2019*
If you have ANY CW2 related content, disable that stuff, restart GMod and then the weapon should work. ( I was also told that if you have a lot of weapons with different Ammo types, it can not work due to having too much Ammo entites).

As we all know, anything can cause addon errors. After realizing anything can cause an addon error. So, it may be due to the following:
-Too many Addons.
-Addons that conflict with one or another.
-Outdated/old addons.
-Something is messing up the Garry's Mod Addon install, like a program running.
-Anti-Virus blocking the Workshop.
-Too many weapons that uses different ammo types (Due to ammo limit that GMod can house/hold)

The things I could suggest fixing is:
-Verify game cache.
-Unsub to VFF, check if the GMA file is still in addons, if it is, delete it. Re-Subscribe to it (Do it while GMod is not running)
-Check what recent or older addons you may have, that might be affecting the Flamethrower.
-Check if the installation is correct, make sure you have a stable internet, have no background running apps running while installing.
-Last resort, factory reset if needed.
-There are other ways to set fires with vFire, search the workshop.

i dont have any cw2 content yet i click both the right and the left mouse butten yet it does not work

I do have about 4 CW2.0 packs installed and flamethrower is working fine for me.

I use Knifekitty's INS2 SWEP pack and many addons using that base and that is heavily modified CW 2.0. Flamethrower works fine for me. vFire breaks incendiary and molotov fire though from that pack and makes them harmless, only incompatibility I know of.

Guys, can you not read? I mentioned that if you have lots of weapons with different ammo types, the Flamethower will not work.

You don't need to remove CW 2 or any packs because of bad coding, its just because the game has a certain limit for ammo types. So you should disable something you know that adds ammotypes and you don't really need it at the moment to make room for the flamethrower ammotype.

TL;DR: don't use ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of weapon addons

@Vioxstar Immense lag is caused when a fire starts spreading. Is this the weapon or the fire?

I have a purely visual problem.
The weapon works exactly as intended, however the thrid person viewmodel is bugged.
The weapon appears in the default center of the player and the stream begins somewhere over the player's right shoulder.
This might be a conflict with something but I'm not sure what it could be.

None of the weapons work for me and I get this in the console ffrom the flamethrower

If I need to delete the CW 2.0 weapons I have, I will just completely uninstall vFire, and if its because of many ammo types, thats pretty hard for me to fix bcuz I have no ammo type related mods installed, I only have Cturiselection, that has like 2 different ammo types, and if thats the case, this mod is just ridiculous.
Also, I havent installed anything after the vFire mods and these even worked 2 times with every mod I have, then suddenly, it just doesnt work anymore

k, solved it pretty quickly, went to check in workshop if I had the base, and I did, but ingame when going through the addons, I didnt find it there, so I reinstalled the base and now everything works like they should. pretty strange

People been saying becuase of it's code for vFire/Flamethrower
