colour tool colours entire thing
The colour tool colours all parts of the wound, is there a certain setting or tool I need?

Yes, but it doesn't colour all the materials, cause there is separated materials.
When aim at the model, a list of the model's materials will show up, the first line its the hole material that can be painted, the others material below is the one separated.
Find the wound or ragskin material and color that one.
If nothing works, then i will find a way and post it here.

The problem is that the Advance Color Tool conflict with alot of addons and is not all of that relaible with the Submaterial tool.

When I use the color tool on the skin part, it just makes it brown no matter what color I put it to

I think the tf2 hat painter might work
