Francis and Louis share the same eye textures so L4D2 marks them as incompatible. They work together regardless of what the game tells you.

There's a pack with all 4 Survivors if you intend to use all 4 of them.

I ended up using both the combined pack (all four) and the individual packs. Regardless of the incompatibility, it seems to work.
