I don't think this is so much a bug as it is a fault with the way the weapon is designed (but I'll post it here anyway because I dunno where else), but if I'm standing with my back to a wall, I can't cast the daggers at all.

I did some testing and was able to determine that this ( https://imgur.com/Rft0Qqm ) is the bare minimum of empty space you need behind you in order to cast the daggers. Otherwise the cursor stays red and you go directly into the flashy aesthetic finishing spin (which, can I just say, I really like). Basically that spot 3 tiles behind you at waist-level needs to be empty, it looks like.

Whatever that spot is, I'd highly recommend putting it somewhere IN FRONT of the character instead.

Currently, I'm trying to figure out why one of my characters can't use the Cosmic Crucible from Frackin' Universe more than one time before the very ability to upgrade weapons and stuff just breaks.

I've upgraded on OTHER characters, but only on one of them did it break. I bring it up here because that very same character also upgraded Vanguard's Pride, which I didn't do on my other characters.

The upgraded vanguard's pride uses recolor directives to make the blade red, but the flash when returning to resting position is not red and the blade flashes its original color after sword combos are completed.

That's a visual bug because the upgraded sword was a botch job.
