Hey, sorry that we forgot one of the most important things which were to give you proper credit. Our intention was never to get people to think we made this map from the ground up. We only wanted to change textures and make it how we want it. You should be credited of course. I think it should be alright now?

not a problem. i personally dont like stepping on peoples feet. i didnt like making the first post, as it sounds assy. but ultimately, the map was developed by 11 other people, all of them want to make sure that their work is FREE. meaning, for the gmod community. As the project was not designed around making a profit. But those other few that can see it being made a profit, see it as if someone else making gains off the map they made. So. in-order to satisfy the devs, id have to be "that guy".

Youve seen me around your map's workshop page. Iv joked maybe once or twice. other than that i never had any hostility against your map.
the rp_venator_vfinal was suppose to be the final version of the BASE series of venator maps. meaning its sorta SUPPOSE to be taken and edited to what people want here or there. i even posted a VMF of an older version of the vFinal on its workshop page.

as long as the credits are placed down to link to the original map. its fine
as long as youre not trying to gain anything off/from the map/changes to the map. then youre fine.

Thank you, if you look through our other maps you will see we always credit every map we either edit or take things from. You guys deserve full credit for letting us edit this map and it was never suppose to come forward as this was our own. If there's anything else just contact me.
