Mg 3 fires 7.62x51 NATO while Mg42 fires WW2 era ammo
and it fires slower too than Mg42
Already plan to add a Sturmgewehr, C96 and Panzerfaust :). I will also likely be adding other circa-WW2 weapons such as the PPD-40 and DP-28, Still have to decide whether to add a Kar98 (or Mosin Nagant for that matter) since many other mods already add it, but probably will happen eventually
No im not Swiss...
I was originally planning to do an MSBS actually but I replaced it with the Luscznik (Beryl Wz-96) because it is more well-known, and the idea (at first) of this mod was to create classic weapons that most people know. But I might add it in the future
Everyone seems to focus on famous military hardware, so how about some under appreciated civy stuff like .38 ACP back-up guns, .22 target pistols, or 40-40 hunting rifles might be nice. The famous HP35/FN Hi-Power) also comes to mind.
It might be nice to split this into smaller sections - the hanggun add on, rifles, optics, etc - so people have a little more choice in what is present, and you save effort working on one segment at a time.
As a quality of life elemnt, perhaps you should make some semi-universal pistol magazines, (like how you handled the battle rifles, despite FN-FAL/M-14/G3 not actually sharing mags) rather than individual ones per design. Given that you have both 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 models of the AK this has some precednt. At the very least the M93R should take avenger mags (also a beretta 9mm) and the glock takes cobra mags (supposedly a Glock 33)
also mythical rarity would be a good idea for certain high grade weapons
add 950. JDJ for the first mythical
