New droids are purple boxes.
This does not happen with assembly kits, but it does with newly created ones.

Anyone know how to fix?

EDIT: Temporal fix, save and then reload the save. It fixes it, but new droids after that will require more saving and reloading.

Hello, I've found there there are conflicts with Vanilla Hair Expanded, so there maybe issue with a mod that mods the heads of pawns, causing a box to appear on their head. I found that saving and loading always fix the issue for me. Can also try going into mod settings and check marking the compatibly box and then reloading and build a new droid to see if that fixes the issue. Myself i chose just to remove the mod in order to remove the issue.

Thanks! Saving and reloading works like a charm.

another work around, if you have Character Editor, open them up inside of character editor and that fixes the problem, saves a restart :)

Fake down mod also works. Just down the pink box droid and bring them back up. Piece of cake.

If using Vanilla Hair Expanded, disable beards when creating a new droid through the mod options

With the character editor mod you can just open that for the new droid and the pink box is gone without actually doing anything.

A few notes from troubleshooting this: The purple box doesn't replace the droid's texture, it's layers on top (you can just barely see the feet). Saving, quitting to menu and reloading fixes the issues. Disabling beards on Vanilla Hair Expanded prevents the problem.

Yes thank you! turning beards off in the vanilla hair expanded fixed the pink box covering the droids.
