How do you charge and android? (minus the obvious solar panel duster, chemfuel belt, exc)
androids and drones on my main base are able to function just fine without any kind of extra clothing to provide power. however, the droids on my second base require these extra power supplies to survive, which is a problem because my drone cant use clothing. does anyone know how androids and drones are supposed to passively charge?

they can eat biofuel (food) watch heir needs, as they eat they food thing goes up then the energy bar goes up and at the same time the food bar goes down again.
so basicly they burn calories to charge their internal battery.
I think they might not have such a supply on your second base?
or did you restrict them from using food?

I am having a similar problem, none of the droids are using conduits or eating food to recharge, once the batteries were gone that was it...
No food restrictions, plenty of food available, but when I right-click on the food there is only the option to Haul or Pick Up, not consume.

Same issue here. They're dying on me.

Okay it looks like basic worker/battle droids cannot consume food to recharge.

They CAN however recharge from a power network that has actual Battery buildings attached (and charged).

Once the network get batteries attached, both the battery and the generator buildings become recharge 'spots' for the basic droids to recharge from.

Can confirm, when I hover over the "Energy" need, in the "Needs" menu of on of the androids it shows up this info.

"Energy is the amount of remaining power left this (An)droid got to use. If it is at zero the (An)droid will power down and die. It is naturally refiled by the androids biological reactor through ingestion of food.

Can also be recharged by using up consumable batteries and wearing certain clothing.

If no other options are available the (An)droid will seek out a nearby power source with connected batteries to fill up their energy reserves."

When they consume power from a nearby power source, they suck out the extra power in batteries, and they need a lot. So have ways of making a lot of power, or cut back on how many droids are active at a time. Learned that the hard way.

You get get them back up if you give a droid battery to the inventory of another pawn and then send that pawn to recharge the downed driod. Its like giving a pawn a medkit and then having them tend a downed pawn.
