This is the old B19 list and needs to be updated! (but most things should still apply):

- Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 I tested these ones, but most should work:
> Asari
> Dwarves
> Elves
> Hobbits
> Orassans
> Callistans
> Androids (Android children are disabled by default, but can be enabled in the options)
There are Alien Races which have some of their features not drawn for children (like missing tails etc.), please also install this mod:

- The Birds and the Bees
Load order:
// Children, school and learning (just 'Children' ingame)
// The Birds and the Bees
The fertility(Birds&Bees) influences the chance to get pregnant
(so with Birds&Bees some colonist might not be able to have children)


- EdB Prepare Carefully
There are problems with AlienRace colonists from B18 not having their correct race set for children.

- Psychology

- Rim of Madness - Vampires & Werewolves
Vampires can't have children by default, but can be enabled
Werewolf children first transform when they get 12 years old and werewolf pregnancy takes only 40% of normal time by default.
Both curses are inherited by default but can be configured.

- Other mods
It should be fine unless other mods change the birth/lovin routines

I currently don't have the time to do another big test on mod compatibility but most of the B19 stuff should still be relevant..

Post here if you have tested a mod and it is compatible or has problems

Even older B18 list (only for reference..):

(Androids, Android Tiers)

Children have to be born 14 or older otherwise Facial Stuff has problems with those pawns.

- C&P
With 0.4a, when both mods are active, the routines for human's having children are replaced by C&P, only the age set in the options and the skill inherit routines of this mod are active.
Load order tested:

// C&P
(needs in depth testing but so far seems fine, of course other incompatibilities apply like C&P and Psychology etc.)

- CombatExtended
Seems fine

- Other mods
It should be fine unless other mods change the birth/lovin routines,
or intoduce other species (but mostly how the children look could be off (not looking like the parents etc.))

I noticed this mod isn't compatible with the Alien vs Predator mod (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1568400124).

It doesn't even let you generate the world for some reason. I'm currently trying to strip the AvP mod of the offending material (the creator of the mod let me know it's most likely his custom body types causing the errors), but it seems to be impossible if not by patch.

Just wanted to let you know.

and it generated and loaded ok for me. Either something changed or maybe it is the order / another mod messing with it?
(I had some errors with "A Rimworld of Magic" and AvP on)

Good to know. I still haven't been able to load a new world, so I'm now turning my attention to RJW (dont judge lol) as the cause of the issues.

(I had some errors with "A Rimworld of Magic" and AvP on)
Hopefully nothing game breaking. So long as the game is playable I can turn AvP back on.

Anyway, thanks a ton for the help! :steamhappy:

i'd really like to be able to have babies and use ammunition for my guns at the same time, please!

I will look into it, do you have specifics that cause problems? (I remember it was compatible in B18, but have not yet looked into it again since then)

Maybe I'm just crazy but I swear I'm having an issue between this mod and "Baby and Children", the core humans are totally fine, just all of my alien races newborns and children are either micro-sized, or HUGE. The scaling in the options has been toggled both ways and didn't change anything(it did cause it to happen to the human though), once I disabled this mod(it seemed) it was working fine, scale was proper. It has to be in the dll, neither mod has a lifestages xml. Can this scaling incompatibility be patched manually?

I have heard this sporadic by people and I know scaling is off with BnC and this, not sure if things on the BnC side changed since then, have to look into it - do you also have my Alien Children Compatibility mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1541438570 because I suspect that having it may cause this, otherwise are this any specific AlienRaces that cause this consistently? Because I haven't really seen it with my testing yet.

Great to hear ^^ I have to update that mod at some point too, but currently most of it is beeing done by BnC if used, so it really needs a bigger rework.

I have not looked that deep into it as it seems like a lot of work to first fully understand the multiplayer mods workings - I do think it is possible to make it work, but I suspect it will take some help from someone who worked on the multiplayer mod, to actually do it in a reasonable amount of time)

I would not rule out the possibility, but probably not in the near future.
