Can we get a more brutal version? I'm thinking anything above 20 nu would be off limits and kept the same but depending on an areas terrain they would have different types of food with them. I think finding expensive food on people who wouldn't normally have it gives me a bit to much of an advantage, so I think limiting the food RNG to food with 20 or less nu would be a great compromise as I like the mod lots. Inland would commonly have dried meat, raw meat, foul meat(for non prince hivers), and chewsticks if you're lucky. The coast of Kenshi would have dried fish, thin fish and grand fish. One issue I have is that coastal cities would have food more often and a higher variety of it. So I think certain factions, or even locations, would simply need to have less RNG food - relative to how much food they could possibly spawn with. The port cities would have less food spawns but slightly more variety of food that could spawn inland. I think this small layer of variety for loot will improve the experience by quite a bit through immersion, I have "bandits loot the player" active and they never actually take anything, they just do the animation, so it would be nice if I could just take food for the sake of not being the only non slaver who takes armour off of peoples bodies. (nowhatimsaying?) would be nice if enemies took my armour and stuff, forcing me to train with cheap equipment instead of the most expensive I can find. Foods rarity will be based on how good it is compared to others so foul meat would be very common for hivers, raw meat would be found on scorchlanders, dried meat and chewsticks should be found on everyone but you'll find foul meat a lot sooner from hivers than dried meat from a shek. The coast would have a very similar order foul meat>raw meat>Thinfish>Grandfish>Dried meat>dried fish>chewsticks, and inland could be something like foul meat>raw meat>dried meat>chewsticks>dried fish. I would increase the hunger rate slightly if I had a mod that did this, just to balance it out a bit since I could get a lot of free food from looting fights, it kind of removes the incentive to create a steady source of food.
