FLIR MFD View Range

Hi, I have CH view distance enabled however the it has not changed the view distance in my MFD when i am trying to look through the FLIR. This means that i cannot see anything and have to go into the actual camera. Is there a fix for this?

What happens if you set the PiP instance in your options very high?
