Sorry to make this post for something silly but
can someone tell me the history of this map? i already watch manny videos but i dont undestand the history? where is the level we start? who is sophy and the man that create the flaslight? who is the monster that scary us and we hear the sound?

the man created a flashlight using the soul of an animal that later became a beast, the beast attacks to get back his soul and the man creates a magic painting (somehow) to keep his daughter safe
at least this is what i got

To sum it up this guy just wanted a lamp

and the man got kill by the beast and his daughter got stuck in the painting forever or her soul is free in the two endings
