"Compressed" items, what

so i can getting stuff like compressed steel and stone....why how.... what...pwes in the desription tell us everything in this mod such as this...

I'm frustrated that most (90%) of my deep drill deposits are now compressed steel, which I can't use to construct e.g. solar panels. Anyone know of a way to de-compress steel into regular steel?

My fork of this mod removes compressed stuff entirely, go check it out.
