I could just go in and attempt to fix it, but I don't experience the problem, so if you can, trigger the error and send the logs. This keep in mind once is a generic item it cannot be reverted back without commands since it requires the previous tool to be a scan tool or magnifying glass... meaning to retrigger it you need a new character or use a command to reset the scan tool...

tldr: trigger error on new character and send me the logs in this discussion along with what skin you used, I will attempt to fix it

Edit: I figured none of you would know where the log is since... thats the community I work with... Your logs will be located in your steam directory, "/starbound/storage/starbound.log" (with no numbers) and paste it using pastebin.com
