So it seems to be perfectly fine, really.
Well, I have never shot a FAL in real life but I have shot an M14/M1A and I can tell you I’m not looking into the sky after I shoot a round and can accurately have a follow up shot. Normally the argument about talking about real life vs video game is useless but in this case that is the whole route that dayz wants to go.
I’m just trying to make the gun to be usable and not something that has more recoil than the SVD, Mosin, or Winchester when the Acog is on it.
You can't add any long range sights on it to turn it into a DMR, and it has too much recoil for me to want to use it in closer engagements so I end up dropping it for an AKM or a SVD.
For a gun that's rare and having its ammo be uncommon I just don't see the point in using it when other more common and better options are available.
