Those guys are PAP, not PLA. They've got digital tiger-stripe camo and PAP patches on their arms. Maybe they could be added in an other mod?

Typically, you don't use the "State of the art" equipment when recreating an army anyway, you're supposed to use logistics numbers not propaganda photos.

Combat photos are always the most useful, but unless you have actual authentic photos of actual combat troops on the front line, you have to just look at the logistics reports to see what equipment they actually use, and what equipment they use THE MOST.

Just because they have a few thousand fancy new (Insert here) doesn't mean its standard issue. And even if the decision from up top is made to make something standard issue, until the item has gone into full circulation, its probably going to take a few years to be fully introduced.

Most of the vehicle camo in this mod is from parades and is not of any use in combat. Its frustrating seeing combat vehicles with ugly blue digital camo. No army in their right mind would deploy troops using such TERRIBLE camo... I say that realizing the US army was dumb enough to deploy men wearing UCP. But that only proves my point as to how stupid it looks.Since China isn't very militarily active, they don't actually have alot of combat proven equipment.

Alot of this stuff is clearly unfit for use, and I wouldn't be surprised if their entire arsenal would change shortly after entering a real war. You'd see alot more conventional weapons, and alot of this new experimental ♥♥♥♥ would get thrown out the window. with maybe a few minor exceptions. That's just how R&D goes. Most ideas don't pan out.

this was ages ago, no point in replying to this topic

although PLA is slowly replacing their old uniforms with new ones that has the Starsky Camo

I am aware they have not made it the standard issue yet, but eventually will seemingly as we get updated with photos from Sinodefence forum

highly recommended for information

If anyone is willing to create new textures for the units I'll be glad to integrate them.
