Also seems to have some effect on formable nations vanilla, tested forming Persia and country color and name remained Iran even after doing event. United Nethlands changed name, but color remained same. Same with Baltic Assemly, name changed, but color remained same.

Strange having effect on formable nations. Thanks for the heads up, will look into it.

What about road to 56? it has a focus for portugal?

Just used UMC Generica mod (alongside with UMC compatibility mod) with Portugal Reworked ++. Its works fine (the UMC National focus works). You should see if there is another mod that causing the incompatibility.

What do you mean? I don't use road to 56, and i don't plan to waste my time to try to integrate it with them - too many errors and incompatibilities (road to 56 is just dozens of small mods cramped together). If you want to try, be my guest.

Finally had time to get back to the game and check. Checked on it mod at a time to see if one other mod was giving an issue, each time had same issue. Then went and disabled every mod escept UMC and this one... and still get same issue. No UMC trees, formable nations do not change color. Then did it again after clearing cache, again just using the UMC and this mod... but still same issues. Tripple checked, no other mods active. Don't know whats going on or how/why it works on your end. Dunno if anyone else is having issue to check and see if something else could be going on but I don't know what it could be. Just thought I'd report back
