How to: Bug Reports
Step 1:
Make sure that the issue is caused by this mod:

In your game launcher, disable all mods except "Vermintide Mod Framework" and "More Loading Screens". Then test, if the issue occurs again.
If it doesn't, the issue is most likely caused by a different mod.

Step 2:
Gather information:

In your file explorer, navigate to
%APPDATA%/Fatshark/Vermintide 2/console_logs
(you can simply copy & paste this line into the explorer's address bar)

There you will find a log file per game session (i.e. one is created every time you start the game).
Find the one that belongs to the session where you experienced the crash/issue.

Example:
Your game crashes once due to a rare issue, but you start it again immediately to continue playing. At the end of the session, you head to the mentioned location. The console log for the crashed session will be the second newest file, since you started the game once after the crash happened.

Upload the contents of the log file to a service like https://pastebin.com/.

Step 3:
Write the bug report:

Create a new discussion on this forum that includes the following information:

  • A description of the issue you encountered.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
  • The link to the pastebin document you created in Step 2.

Important: Reports that don't include a log file (see Step 2) will be ignored, as they lack sufficient information for me to investigate the issue.
