So there is another way, a question, if I put 4 in pagan as a wife and I reform it to be 5, will it affect anything?
And tell me where that folder is? Please
I'll edit the post to make it more clear.
Not sure I understand the question but;
If you currently have a pagan religion with 4 wives, and you want to reform it to 5 you'd have to change the line mentioned in the post above.
YourDriveHere/steam/steamapps/common/crusaderkings2/common/religion_features/00_features
Then ctrl+f search for religion_harems and change set_max_wives = 5
That should give any reformed religion with the multiple wives doctrines 5 wives.
If you want to change concubines? If that is what you mean by pagan wife, then you would change this line;
set_max_consorts = 0
To whatever you want it to be.
If you mean cultures, the files are here;
crusaderkings2/common/cultures/00_cultures.txt
You would have to add the line in manually on the specific culture you want changed.
In the correct place, so you don't break anything.
Look for these types of things;
Seafarer = yes
allow_looting = yes
disinherit_from_blinding = yes
and add the lines you want there. set_max_wives = X and set_max_consorts = X for concubines.
If you already have a religion that gives more, the culture one is not needed.
However, you could do concubines from culture and wives from religion. They will work together, however the concubines will not show in the character tab. As that would be occupied by the second wives.
