Working Combine Dropship NPCs

if too many dropships are present, there is a change containers will fly towards to combines, or the the container itself will not turn into prop sometimes, and a weird bug happens if u let dropship place container then despawn dropship, it wont spawn any combines anymore (or dropships stacking in each other)
i also found out that they sometimes get stuck in air and will never deploy the container if another dropship is close (random change)

The dropships also don't leave once they drop the container, instead they just stay here without doing a damn thing. It's probably an AI flaw since usually it's all a scripted event chain in the map itself, but it's still pretty annoying.
is this glitch common so everytime i spawn them in flatgrass they would charge into the building i tried to spawn them far away from the building but they freeze in mid air.:steamfacepalm:

it would be cool if the dropships wont actually set a totally random place in the map to deploy the troops (by that I mean that they would actually deploy the combine in a certain range from the player). that's because they may get really far away once they spot you in very big maps. also for some reason in those big maps, once they spot you they go all the way up in the sky and then veery slowwwly come down to deploy the troops

It is because the script that spawns them runs off the NPC's. So if the NPC isn't there, the Soldiers wont spawn.

Can you make the dropship disappear when it's done dropping, or perhaps add a scripted event so the dropship will flee into the sky and then ent_fire *dropship name* kill?

strider dropship not present

heres a few problems i found: first that NPCs only target the dropship, even when the combine have landed (this is extremely annoying for creating NPC battles) second, when combine engage an enemy they stand still, so when the next one jumps out they all merge together. Also i find the dropships upon looking for a place to land that they slide really quickly through the air and usually into parts of the map and just get stuck (this was on gm_construct and gm_flatgrass as well as many other compatible maps)

The Strider Drop Animation is a bit buggy it just floats in the air and unfolds his legs then he plops down and if he gets hit by an antlion guard or guardion the strider will float away in the air (idk if its the same thing if other force is applied to it)

In the update logs, he already said strider dropship would be buggy.
The strider dropship is the only one for me that deploys near the player/friendly npc all the others go to a select point on the map and deploy there
