Talons are from the wyverns or crafted - either kill water and ice wyverns or check the crafting tables.
As for the boss golems, they're rare spawns. The spawn locations are listed in the Google doc on the description page for the mod. For example, clear out the volcano area for the glacial golem (monster island spawner). Storm golems are the only ones that spawn from killing golems.
