Possibilities for Updating Qcklu's for Re-Port to XB1

Dovahbit has been in every game I've played since Qcklu ported him to XB1 Bethesda Mods (and I thank you for the permission you gave Qcklu ... can't imagine a game without Bit). Except now that certain older follower mods have had their troubles and newer ones have come on the scene, some compatibility issues have arisen. Currently, with the AFT kerfuffle, I turned to Immersive Followers Framework (IFF). Mostly Bit and IFF are compatible, with the exception that Bit no longer lets me ride horses. He returns to Farengar, yet remains my follower and will rejoin me if he sees me without a horse. I can't use any vanilla game horses or vanilla horses in other mods that are merely retextured. Bit's mod has never caused 1 moment's trouble before, no matter how many horses I've ridden. I discussed this with IFF's MAs, they're very sympathetic, but it seems there's nothing they can do on their end. Could you offer any suggestions? I'd ask if you could modify the code or create a patch, but I don't want to be just another person asking you to take time and effort. But ... I'm asking. For now, I'm keeping Bit, still using IFF, and giving up horses. :( At the very least, if you read this, thanks for your time and the original mod.
