Bug: color switches on drafting pawns / balancing of materials
first of all thanks for the great mod and keeping it up to date

I'm a bit surprised no-one else seems to have mentioned it but this should be a general issue with the mod rather than my specific config (tested with only the core modules enabled)

shields inherit the color of the material used as is common for many items in rimworld.

however if you draft multiple pawns all the shields of the same type will display the same color, see https://i.imgur.com/DKr5TTV.png


on a sidenote, why is tactical the only shield using leather/cloth instead of metallic and also boasts an increased factor of 0.75 (default 0.5)? If you simply use devilstrand the armor rating is significantly higher than any other shield of similar quality, not to mention thrumbofur or hyperweave, e.g.
  • normal devilstrand tactical has 155, 57, 200
  • normal thrumbofur tactical 200, 57, 112
  • normal hyperweave tactical 200, 70, 200
  • normal plasteel ballistic 127, 52, 32
  • legendary plasteel ballistic 200, 94, 58
(200 is the cap for each item)
