This mod already has/does medieval shields and modern (industrial) shields (ie, like riot/swat shields), but where are the future (spacer) shields? I know the vanilla game already has shield belts (and dampening belts with the dampening belts mod), but would still be cool to have literal shield versions of the same thing (plus, shield belts are now mutually exclusive with certain royalty stuff, jetpacks can't go with shields belts). There are certain effects that are added by Royalty that would prolly mesh well with said future shields (such as smaller single plane bubble shield effect, a persona shield that allows use of skipshield once a day even without psycast level or a heat resistant shield that is basically a crappy but cheaper version of the phoenix armor without incendiaries), but using such effects would prolly need to be confined to a sub-mod for obvious reasons...

Anyway, both curious why no future shields and also food for thought. Like honestly, could prolly just say too much work, I gots ♥♥♥♥ to do.
