ok.. so..

№⒈ You need either Rayman1103's mutation mod:

№⒉ Then you need Rayman1103's Singleplayer Enabler mod:

№⒊ This mode will be read as "Infected_Co-op_Versus" in the mutation menu only
but as campaign/versus in the console command so don't worry.

№⒋ When you select this you will only be able to select a survivor player, not infected.
This is due to the fact that the console command thinks it's a campaign.
So when it loads you will be a survivor, just click the change team button.
("M" is the default key)

№⒌ Survivors will get stuck in some areas and can't activate certain crescendo events, finales, generators etc. So you will have to switch to the survivors side to complete the task, just switch to start the generator then switch back, that simple.
But you might have to type in "vs_max_team_switches 99" in the console to increase the number of team switches so you can complete their tasks without having them getting stuck and not proceeding. The games default only allows you to switch so much so if you're playing a lot and switching a lot eventually you won't be able to switch anymore and won't be able to advance.

№⒍ If the console won't let you submit the "vs_max_team_switches 99" command then you'll have to go back to the main menu and submit the "sv_cheats" from 0 to 1.
Then you'll be able to submit the "vs_max_team_switches 99" command and everything will work fine with no problems.

I've been moding for only about 7 months and I made this work flawlessly.
So stop hating on the creator because y'all are clearly novices who don't know what you're doing.. get your facts straight before thinking you know enough to say "this creator sucks" when he's better then every one of you in here for creating this beauty of a mod.

If anything I said about how to make this work did not make any sense to you then you don't deserve to own this mod, stop complaining and move on.

hello good sir!
i done everything you have told me to do, and while i get the option to do such. i am unable to swich teams to explore as a zombie.
i followed all the steps, got all the mods, and so forth.

the default button to switch teams is the letter "M" key

there is a command that you can type in on the console with the ~ button
but I'm not sure what it is, but I am sure that you can find out what that command is,
it's very simple, I just forgot, try looking up thru steam dicussions or try google

I actually found a mod that works without doing any of this,
so I don't use this one anymore.

i got this one working.
plus ths one isnt a mutation, and it can work on maps like Tumtara and such!

i agree it is indeed very very nice. glad to find one that supports multiplayer too, very helpfull when you just want to use the infected to explore for eastereggs, or just test your skill against the bots. very good for learning to avoid them.

exactly it's the perfect mutation, it should have came with the game,
not being able to play VS. as single player? that was literally the only thing
that I one hundred and ten percent absolutely hated about L4D lol

hey dude you can change it in the options go to options then click keyboard/mouse then look above Reverse mouse and you will see EDIT KEYS/BUTTONS click it, then find MENU and right under it click on it and change it to witch ever key you prefer, or just click use default witch is located at the bottom left of the box were you change it.
