Now for your ideas:
Yes i will be working on most of my mod, but in the summertime i have not much space to enhance my mod. And my sponsored mod "Dino Patrol" takes a lot time to develope further.
1. Good idea, i will put it on the idea list.
2. Single player sucks especially with the hibernation stupidness (sorry)
i recommend starting a local server and play on it. You can start the dedicated arkserver from
the menu where you normally start the single player. If it runs, start Ark from the ark directory
and connect to the lan server. So you are playing locally on a local server.
3. hm, controller support is also worse, but i will think about it
4. i will put it also on the idea list.
And regarding SP vs server... Yeah, sorry for the confusion... Reading my old post I wrote that poorly. But to clarify I usually test out new mods in SP and everything that passes then gets copied over to my dedicated after I am satisfied that it is stable/beneficial enough to justify the added load time. :-)
I like 2). Adding a hotkey or something to repeat the scan would be cool.
Scanning a whole map in PVE is a bit OP. Limit the distance helps but you always have to go in the menu.
A high level engram to unlock it as a tool would be great.
An admin mode with no restrictions would be better than admin only flag.
I also have a suggestion. Rework of the search button. As it appears, it looks more like a message indicating that a search is already going on.
