They are afraid of competition. People would rather buy tennogen stuff than prime duds.

I'm sick of waiting for this Cloak to be accepted. It's an instant buy from me. What tires me more is when I see relatively junk (in my opinion) being accepted into Tennogen and stuff like this Cloak is still left in the dust. Baffles me, it truly does.

And to add insult to injury, not yatus nor DE will comment about it. So we don't even know if it's being considered, if it needs tweaks and what those will be. Hopefully they won't absolutely destroy it like they did Nyx Aures.

^ Regarding this. DE may or may not have given Yatus advice about getting this accepted. Either way, it makes sense for Yatus to avoid publicly addressing DE's choice because he could make them angry, and jeopardize all future submissions he may make. People are petty and hold grudges, especially game developers who historically aren't the most even-keeled/well-adjusted adults.

Because it needs more work. V2 looks way better than V1, and it needs another pass to really look amazing.

That doesn't mean it's the right thing to do to accept them and push them through. And why would you argue for lower standards? Besides the fact that this stuff costs a lot for what it is, I'm all for increasing the standards over time. If we weren't, we'd still be playing games from 1990.

What lower standards? This is THE most polished syandana in the workshop at the moment.
It easily outshines existing prime capes as well.
Your argument is sound, but it doesn't apply in this particular case. It's already polished beyond everything there is in cape slot in warframe.

I don't agree that it's just quite where it could be yet even relative to other syandana options, and I would like to see it get another pass of improvement to look really great, but I guess we'll have to settle for acknowledging our difference in opinion. You're just as entitled to yours and your vote as I am to mine, and I'm not sure there's anything else that can be said between us.

We need more proper medievil designes like this, allot of the already existing syandanas are crap. look ♥♥♥♥, and are more of an eye sore than an actual cape. i find proper medievil capes looking much better. hell the 1 that the game does actually have is oddly the most common one you see players buy because it looks so good. Ive been around a long time, and still much of the attachments and capes are crap. i could designed far better than that with little effort. So i dont know why its so difficult for other designers to do the same. Does nobody have any sort of artistic vision? a sort of pool of life exposures to drink from. Oh well
