There shouldn't be any.
Yeah, the base of the skull area. It kinda looks like there's a bit of the helmet missing there that would cover it.
I don't know if links to Twitter play nice but here. [x.com]
if this is just a weird quirk of the Elysian helmet design I fully get it though. I don't mean to insult or anything.
bald spot[imgur.com]
Yes and no. is aggressively slanted by design.
The model has the back go up even higher at a more aggressive angle.
I toned it down slightly, didn't quite feel right to me when modelled and just from a protection point of view.
So there is supposed to be sizable opening there....but I totally forgot about adding hair that would adapt. That said, the base game ones don't reeeally work.
I will add the option for hair, people can just choose to go bald or find a haircut that works.
But really I would need to add another version of the base game hair. Which would be quite a lot of work, since I would have to redo all hair cuts.
So I reckon I'll just leave it as is, that just doesn't seem worth it to me.
Yeah, that's totally fair. Out of interest I wondered how the version of the Elysian gear looked in Darktide and they found their own workaround for it. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/captainb/screenshot/2461858676972961819/
I'll keep it bald. As nn alternative however, I guess I will add the parts to each category.
That way you could add a balaclava or so.
Would mean you could not do that with the full set, but it sort of works.
Slight clipping[imgur.com]
maybe some other cosmetic would work.
I won't do it now, but I would like to add some more variations, like a Vox to the side of the head... Maybe I can add an underlay of sorts then. Couldn't hurt.
Sorry if I've just given you a load of ideas that just leads to more work :P
clipping[imgur.com]
There is more clipping on the sides and for some faces on the chin too.
I would be servicable I suppose but. to fix this I think I would need to fix the morph targets. That is editing just about every face in the game...for a work around?...eeeh..pass.
I'll wait until I get back to the helmet to maybe add a turtleneck thingie maybe.
Or I could make a facepaint specifically to cover the back XD.
