Sir, we've still not managed to make contact with the shipping ship with the firearms and supplies from Vegas. It's the strangest thing, just moments after they hit water in our area and were on our radars, the ship's signature vanished. We had thought it was due to the thunder storm happening at the time, but we've not found and evidence of the vessel even existing. The dive team hasn't recovered a single scrap of the boat, the crew, not even the cargo, be it on the floor of the ocean or the shore of the mainland. No life saving equipment such as a rescue dinghy has been found, no radio signals, nothing. Some of the crew were making insensetive jokes about "searching in the hills of the mainland" and I'd given them a warning and told them not to make the jokes again, as this shipment was our chance at securing survival and more crew.

We did at least make contact with Vegas again and let them know what happened, they were obviously distraught but said their outpost was holding up, and, if weather permits, could get a second smaller shipment out in another month. I had them keep the supplies, as though their HQ is obviously doing well, they may need it. Let me know if you'd like to have any scouts sent out further in land or another dive team, perhaps the crew were onto something and the crew made it in land, surviving?
