The Wiremod version here in the workshop was previously updated last November. The latest version on Github has fixed several bugs since last November, including one security issue (https://github.com/wiremod/wire/issues/832), yet those same issues are still present in this version. Most servers run the workshop version so me and many other players are unable to use certain contraptions in multiplayer because our contraptions rely on the bug fixes implemented by the latest Wiremod.
