has any one found a fix for all of this why cant there be a second mod the spire tool or maybe have this be open to the public to fix and improve

When I unsubscribe and resubscribed it worked for me. If you wanted to know I am playing on a Mac

Okay here is my solution. At first I tried to setup the mod manually, by downloading the .jar files and placing them to sts folder. When it failed, I subscribed this page and it gave me the same error code. After that, I unsubscribed, deleted all the files in the sts folder which I downloaded and setup manually, then subscribed again, and it worked. SO, if you tried to setup mods manually before, undo everything you had done and only subscribe the stuff in here. Hope this works for all of you too.

Uninstall all mods. Don't reinstall, they'll never work.

That is correct. If this doesn't work for you, there's no workaround. You can't play modded Slay the Spire.
