Known Issues/Bug reporting
General note on trouble shooting: Please before you post in the comments, or the thread make sure you have disabled any other mods before troubleshooting for this mod. I ain't running around compability testing this mod, or running goose chases for other people's animation bugs. Seb knew what they were doing better than most so other thing is I don't really want to mess with their work more than needs to be done.
TL;DR: make sure you have tested JUST THIS MOD BEFORE REPORTING. Thank you, otherwise just too many variables for me to see and one last general FYI; if I can't replicate the issue I will not bother testing it beyond that point.

Known Issues:
Major
*VC, maybe TMK and it looks like NOR at quick glance still need full treatment
*Not SFO/probably unit overhauls in general compatible stat wise(mainly unit speeds as officers are fresh entires in db and will over ride other mods unit changes), should not cause a CTD, sorry folks but for now and immediate future this is vanilla tested only. -Soul


Minor
* Lothern Sea Guard officer bug (shield is flipping upside down, animation is bugged) - Replaced with default officer for HEF, not really a bug more of a animation glitch with unit it shares/looks like the variantmesh may of never been built properly
* Bretonnian peasant archer officer bugs - Invisible shield, animation broken, hand is just floating like it's holding a shield. - Same as above, will look into more aesthetically pleasing solution in future, aside from holding a ghost shield could not see any real broken animations.

Looked into Lothern Sea Guard and Bret Peasants. Confirmed both, stay tuned for fix in near future don't think they're bugs just by-products of way orig mod was constructed/Lothern Sea Guard maybe choice between that or officer needing a bow.

EDIT 2.2 is live, was just running it a minute ago fine even has a few VC officers in now too along with a few bug fixes.

Hmm, I was having similiar trouble with the 2.1 in testing, didn't seem to be happening when uploaded, but I've been having issues with uploading to Steam at all since last night so I'll say it now wouldn't trust whatever is on their servers 100%.

Don't doubt you either but double check not integrity of game cache to humour me and then if that still doesn't help try deleting and redownloading in case janky steamness, finally on the page for the mod I have uploaded a 2.2 beta, which I cannot get Steam to upload, I was just running it now seems to be working fine so hopefully that fixes it for yeah last resort.

That's the plan to start with at least, you have to be very very careful with variants or can easily casuse CTD, sound bugs etc so just time consuming to experiment with it, and all text based no visual while modding, at least that I know of. A lot of save mod-boot game-crash/exit game-edit mod, etc etc kinda stuff. Good thing finally got a SDD eh? xD

For example, current test where I'm just trying to get the existing zombie officer a pirate hat caused all officers to go invis, so prob just a typo but I don't have the time to fully look into it at the moment.

End of Jan latest I'm thnking now going to do that for zombos, and similiar quick dirty plan for depth and syreens. I also want to expand Norsca think do something like that for them as well, so far they just have officers for one unit of marauders and some cav

Or for the time being you can put the gunnery wight model as an officer to all zombie related units, save the deck gunners, better than nothing until you can make something else.

placeholder Gunnery Wight, until have time to mess with the variants some more just a fact of life sorry, I have to update the mod for the festag update today, so I'll see maybe I can just drop the gun from the variant line and leave it there for meow

if you're talking fleet admirals however, that ain't me, this mod don't edit actual generals

in theory yes/part of my future plans to add officers to more units, i gots to make a custom variant for the deck gunners as they are a unique new model to the game and I cant just toss some placeholder in
