Watcher's Guard stance is severely underdeveloped and should probably be removed in favor of a single power card
There are only three cards that allow entering Guard:

- At The Ready, which Retains + Exhausts (counterpart to Crescendo/Tranquility)
- Anticipation, which has Exhaustive 3
- Battle Flow, which allows entering any stance

There are no cards dedicated to entering Guard which can be played indefinitely!

Both Wrath and Calm has several more cards that come in pairs:

- Vigilance/Eruption (costs 2, deals damage/blocks, only starting deck)
- Inner Peace/Indignation (if you are in the stance, do 3 things, otherwise enter stance)
- Simmering Fury/Meditate (turn planning)

None of which exhaust.

Guard is also not listed on the card Vibes from this mod, which awards benefits based on stance.

Looking at what Guard actually does, it doubles block and reduces damage dealt by 90%, which might as well be 100%. It is an extremely steep cost for a fairly marginal benefit.

Furthermore, the base game already sells Calm as the defensive stance, given cards like Vigilance and Like Water couple Calm with Block.

Conclusion: Guard is underdeveloped and very weak, to the point that cards associated with it are trap picks. The stance system is the Watcher's most powerful and versatile mechanic, and Guard is not useful enough as is to be playable.

Here's my suggestion:

1. Remove At The Ready.
2. Remove the Guard mention from Battle Flow.
3. Remove Guard as a stance.
4. Change Anticipation into a Power card that provides a defensive benefit while in Calm, for instance:

Anticipation (2) When you gain Block from a card, if you are in Calm, gain 3 (upgraded 4) Shielding.
