Bandana Changes
I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier, but I'm a Steam Workshop newbie and didn't realize I could create threads.
In the comments, we discussed changing Bandana's payout. I know you proposed 4 gold per hit, but I don't really think this would differentiate the card very much from its current design. I only offer suggestions because I love the mod, so do take them with a grain of salt as I of course exceed to your intrinsic knowledge of how you want the mod to play.

If we set Bandana to 2 gold per hit, raising the cap to 40 gold, it gives a higher payout, but changes the dynamic so that it's a card that you have to work for. Whereas Buried Treasure is a lump sum reward. Consider that Bandana can be stacked, and I think it will still be as powerful as ever, if not more so -- just with a different strategy to optimize its usage.

Thank you to moving into the thread.

I'm still thinking about changing the Bandana, but tbh I'm worried about one thing after applying your suggestion: it's not Innate card, and I don't really want to make it Innate, but without Innate the perfect play would involve skipping all attacks until you find Bandana, so you can get the full value. Right now it only requires 5(6) hits after playing it to get the full value, but in your proposal you would rarely get the full value. I feel like your design is more fitting to a relic or something.

Tbh I don't think Bandana is well designed card, I don't really like it too much, but I think it would be better to change the effect completely, instead of just nerfing the damage to 2 and increasing the cap.


Also: I really like what you suggested to Bounty Hunter! But I was discussing the changes on sts discord forum with other modders, and they raised good points that making Bounty Hunter ramping up makes the card much stronger when found early, and much weaker when found late and overall harder to balance properly. I think It would be a pretty good change, but I also must take balance into account.

For now, I don't think I will be changing anything in the mod. Thank you for your suggestions though! Sadly I cannot make everybody happy.




Update: Bandana was reworked in v.2.13.0 and now reads: Whenever you kill a non-minion enemy, gain 10 (13) Gold.
