The main additions for the next update are:
  • a rework of how revolts work: Now you can really stop them from happening
  • new special quests, which guide you on your way to becoming Emperor
  • new auxiliar cohorts with area of recruitement
  • added new building: barracks, which allows you to recruit auxilary units and your own legion
  • New Roman items, which are purchasable at the market
  • Customizable legion: You can create your own legion: for this you must be either Emperor or have the rank of a legatus legionis, then you must own a town/castle with a barrack, there you can talk with the recruiter to found your own legion. You also need 80,000 denars. You can choose the name and the equipment of the troops
  • many minor changes, bug fixes and tweaks

I will realise more detailed information on the changes once I upload the new update.

Thank you for a wonderful mod, likes of it has not been since the beginning of Mount & Blade. Over the past month, it has already become the most popular. It's great that you don't stop there and continue to work. Good luck!

Looks interesting, especially implementation of my custom legion idea.
If may I ask, is that possible that we could create customized infantry, archers, cavalry and possibly auxillia units within that legion?
I have many ideas how to arm up my personal legion.

@adriankowaty I can expand it, currently in my testing version, you can arm: centurio, signifer, vexilarius, aquilifer, tribunus, primus pilius, tiro legionis, miles legionis and evocatus legionis, but it isnt difficult to add archers and cavalry too, and it seems reasonable to me that you want to do that

@Maxi - good, then I would humbly ask for this option.
And good that you can arm up officer corps too - I expected that only common soldiers can be "equipped" the way we want that.

@adriankowaty but the choice of equipment will be limited, you wont have access to all weapons which are avaible in game, so cant make a legion which looks like a germanic hord

@And making legionaries looking like germanic hord wasn't my goal at all.
I just sought to have proud Roman parade troops, with common archers wearing lorica hamata and galeas legionis, while proper legionarries carring more parade-style uniforms.
I am battle aesthete to be honest.

Congratulations for the mod Maxi! Its amazing, im totally addicted! I was not beeing able to play b4 because i changed battlesize in rglf file.
