I have good news for you: due to coronavirus from today to the begin of April there will be no lectures and exams at my university, which means I will have much more free time to mod!

Since the last update I didnt really worked much on the mod, but what I did so far is the following:
- added horse races (only in Roman towns, I know chariot races would be cooler, but well,
would be too complicated, so horse races)
- fixed bugs which where reported and some others I found
- changes to native code which let lords switch factions: now lords favor factions of there own
culture or which are neighbors (situations, where an Armenian Lord switches to a Britannic
faction should no longer occur)
- added tributary vassal (currently AI only): if a kingdom is winning a war against a 'barbarian'
one, then, if the kingdom is large enough and if the kingdom has inflicted enough war damage
the barbarian kingdom will become the tributary vassal of the other kingdom
- changes to the religious aspects: Now, donations are only possible once a day, but the effect
(and cost) of large sacrifices has been increased, additionally, there is a short cut to access
the priest faster (avaible if you have visited the scene at least once): Hold the shift key when
you click on "visit the temple of BLABLA (similar to the other short cuts already avaible)

In the next days I will probably start with adding in the latifundia system.

And there are some other things I thought about, but I want to hear your opinion. Since the world map performance has increased for me since the last updates, I thought about adding more locations to the map, I thought especially about adding more centers to Parthia and maybe some to Armenia. Then I also thought about splitting Armenia into several factions (Colchis and Iberia) (those faction would have the same troops as Armenia and Parthia). I just want to know what you think about such plans.

I think that if sacrifices are going to be limited to one per day, one needs to deal with probability of gain. Currently only reason why I spam them so often is that the change to get attribute point is so low, so you need to try several times over and over to get just a bunch of them.
You could make it so that success is always ensured to cover limitation in my opinion.
And as horse races are going to start, do you plan to implement Olympics in Olympia?
I feel just that this part of the mod is being negleced.

In all the playthroughs I've done so far, Armenia always gets eliminated early, so I wonder whether splitting it into multiple weaker factions would make sense. If I was to name an area to expand the map to, it'd be either eastern Germany and Poland or Denmark, where there's currently a conspicuous hole before lands of Sarmatians.

More importantly, I think there is plenty of interesting areas on the map already that adding one more isn't going to be much of an improvement, while adding some of the cool mechanics you plan and even spending some time on some balance issues would be a big improvement.

But, with all that said, I think you should do whatever excites you the most. The more interested you are in doing something, the better it will go.

Thanks for that reminder, I think I would have forgotten it otherwise

Its quite probably that I added it sooner or later, since now, everything for horse races is done.
I would need some other contests too, like a spear throwing contest (probably the easiest would be to use the training ground code: so you throw spears and try to hit target, the one with most hits wins)
And some wrestling contest (both opponents spawn without cloths and weapons, you simply use your fists to defeat the enemy

Good to know then, let ous hope that you add it one day.

It was in the last version too, only the dialgoue option was missing, but I already added it!
