Salve!

Its been a while …

I want to clarify two things: I will not update the mod in September. And I will not make any announcement regarding a release date. The reason is that I am basically changing so many aspects of the mod that I don’t know how much time I still need to test everything. There are by know four main aspects remaining to change and the others may need polishing. So far we have:
  • changed (Roman) political landscape and features
  • changed recruitment and troop management
  • changed/adjusted graphics, assets, worldmap
  • added new factions
  • changed economy aspects: in particular tax calculations, diseases and fire event
  • changed/adjusted/added lord AI behavior
Left to do:
  • change diplomatic aspects and faction AI
  • change civil war
  • finish and polish the Roman main story
  • finish economy aspects
  • polish lord AI behavior

Ave atque vale!

Cool! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the economy and politics especially. Economy was already a pretty impressive system, compared to vanilla or any other mod I know, and politics is such a big area, there are a lot of possibilities. Will be interesting to see what you have done with it when this comes out.

Waiting for the update. But i agree that it is always best to not promise any date for release. That is how you get a Duke Nukem situation. It is simply done when it is done. Just update the checklist here on what is left to do as a kind of countdown as things are completed.

there is still a longer way to go. Maybe I made too many changes this time hahaha, and there is still stuff missing:
roughly:
-) finalising the main story
-) change to civil war
-) testing

So after that it is testing to do. And find the one hundred and one things that is bugged or just outright broken before it can be released. And then it is to sit back and wait for the feedback to come to you. Looking forward to the update when it comes.

NOOOO!!! (Not about the not going to update this September) Why did you make this!? I conquered THE WORLD and had nothing left to do!!! I had the world at my fingertips and a solid successor! And guess what? The guards for some reason turned to strange Germanic beasts one day! Augusta Poppaea and my minister went over to some backwater castle in Britannia because I apparently lost Rome! How!?!?! I had over ten thousand men posted there! Then, at the entrance to the Atrium Augusti there was a tiny me! Like the model for a child Civis but ME!!! He was creepy, kept making strange laughing and saying he would kill me! I lost access to the Domus Augusti, nobody addressed me as Caesar anymore, I lost all my Senate followers, and the nobility openly waged war against Rome itself!!!
WHAT THE...

Good day [BG]Maxi!
I hope your mod is not yet abandoned...
It would be a shame if its already abandoned and left unfinished. :steamsad:
Your Mod reeks of great potential to be the best roman mod.
