Mount & Blade: Warband

Aut Caesar aut nihil
Wealth Generated by Slaves in Villages
It seems to me that when you have slaves in a village, the wealth you are told they generate does not go into your inventory nor your treasury. How does this wealth actually translate into in-game benefits? Because atleast for now it seems slaves are only useful to decrease building times in your fiefs and to sell for some good coin. Either way I'm loving the mod and I'm close to becoming Caesar! Great work to everyone involved.

The money is added to the rents of the village! So you get it with the weekly budget report
But if the village is raided or invested by bandits the rents are "stolen", so set to zero or halfed (I forgot the exact effect).
But to avoid this you can build watchtowers and give the village a garrision,

A Roman bandit. More sophisticated than previously thought.
