what are the benefits of Christianity

i know believe a roman god and pray that will give me some good weapons and equipments.But if i pray to christian god seems that seems i only can get some useless words?

Every now and then you get random Core stat buffs, I personally tend to get Strength buff's from time to time from the Christian faith.

Update: on top of temp attribute buffs, found Jesus gives you at random a possible mid battle full heal but seen it once of dozens of battles, random skill points, and if you pray enough times he eventually gives you increases more and more things.
