Mount & Blade: Warband

Aut Caesar aut nihil
How to get a settlement for your management after conquering?
I accidentally chose the wrong option, after the assault on the city I needed. I am the emperor. How to get a city under your control? Through which adviser? In the vanilla Warband, it was possible through an adviser in the capital, but how is it here?

As a subject, you don't, reliably. You can ask Caesar, but his response really depends. Easiest way to get your first city is through the quest where you replace a bad governor.

When you are Caesar yourself, of course, you get to do whatever you want. I don't remember which advisor exactly. I do remember that you have to hire some advisors and I didn't have them and was missing many actions until I figured that out. Maybe it's the case for you as well. What happens is the advisor is offered when you first get a settlement, but you are pretty poor then and might say no thanks, but then once you become big and rich, you might still be missing them and their actions.

Im already a rich Caesar that has all possible advisors. But, i can`t give that fief to myself, no advisors has the right dialogue line.
