I realy do like the mod and I have a a suggestion. However, I would not know if you would be able to implement this but the idea is a light guardian village, with the floran nature design. I know this would probably be a big undertaking if you do make it but I find it would be very interesting.
Keep up the good work,
Volvo
That's on the to-do list for the future -- there's plans to have full racial support for features visible in Vanilla (e.g. villages, dungeons, ship crew members, or other world-generation related things).
I don't know when these things will be done as there's some other priorities, but I can at least tell you that you will be able to see these features soon!
Why don't you make the tails brighter, as currently, compared to the character, the tails are pretty dark. I would imagine a way you could combat that is by adding a small light to it, and because the character model already glows, the small light on the tail would not really make too much of a difference I would imagine.
Unfortunately, in Starbound's current state, it is impossible to override the lighting of armor and other accoutrements so that it doesn't ever get dark. As such, the only viable method is to include a tail as part of the body sprite, though this may have adverse effects in its own way.
I'm still planning it all out but the least I can say is that I do have a desire to fix this issue.
That'd be neat. If anything, something like that would be more fit as an instance world (like the outpost) rather than a randomly generated village. Though, I think that's what you meant anyway, so no worries.
It could happen. If anything I'll wait until after WotW releases so that I can make things accurate.
oh and one more suggestion, would it be possible for you to add friendly and enemy ships that these spirit guardians that fly around in the solar system maps that you can board on?
Yep! That's planned when I get around to adding random villages/towns since they are in the same part of the mod's data as space stations and vessels.
maybe an addon mod for this kind of thing could be helpful? no real pressure or anything, just spewing out a thought I had
