Server side or Client side?
Hi, i want to try tis mod for my server. I'm using g-portal as service provider, which offers a web-based settings menue, for mods too. They have categories for mods, server-side and client side.
My question is, which category does this mod belogs to, server-side, or client side?
I have a couple of other mods running fine, they'e client side. But something tells me this one is probably server side.

Ok, so i tried server side because it made sense, logically. Didn't see any difference in zombie spawns. For a mod called Zombieseverywhere this is rather disappointing

This mods adding spawn in all the map and normaly you can add more zombie in the .pbo of this mods but att this time i tryed that and that make no difference ...


i don't know at this time :/

At this point, there is unfortunately no difference between server side or client side, but BI hopefuly solve this soon. What matters is whether it requires specific mod to connect to the server - equalModRequired = 1; (Clients require the exact same modfolder naming, order and amount as the server). If you use this line equalModRequired = 1; you can not just modify pbo., player is not connected due to a missing signature (different version). So you need to run it as mod with signature...

Thanks for the answer. Yes, equalModRequired is enabled. I was thinking (i hate when that happens), it's entirely probable that this mod runs just fine. In the description it states that the actual number of new spawns depends on server max spawn settings and server population.
Since i didn't touch the original settings (1000 max) and my serrver isn't that populated (me and my mates roleplay as the last men on earth ;)), it probably will take a while to notice the new spawns. Also, we cruise around in our car most of the time, so the chance to wittness actual zombies spawing in a meadow somewhere is rather slim.
Will test further.

Server Facts and Info

ZOMBIES - Horeds of zombies can be found in any city! Customized movement and sounds of Z's to create WalkingDeadZ'S for a true zombie feel! You also can only kill them by a head shot.. shoot there legs and make them crawl but your wont be able to kill them without a headshot. Also roaming zombie hordes are a WIP and will be added shortly!

TRADERS - Normal Traders located in Berezino shipping docks, Green Mountain and Kumyrna! All weapons and ammo under one trader! But we also have a black market trader that only deals with high end guns. He does carry all types of ammo and attachments, but only certain high end guns can be bought or sold.

RADIATION - Radiation cans can be found around the map and when opened create a radiation zone. If you happen to get radiated use the rads to heal.

VEHICLES - Buggy's, Jeeps, Trucks, UAZ's and Offroads spawn around the map. At any given time there are 20-50 vehicles on the map that are not owned. All are available at the traders as well.

WEAPONS - We have added over 90 new weapons most are available in the traders but some only spawn very rarely or come in airdrops. Some weapons for example are: FAL, RPK, M249, AS-50, AR15

MAP - The entire map has been customized with prisons, camps, medic outpost, roadblocks and loot tables have been adjusted to compensate for the growth in buildings and spawn able loot.

GEAR - Just too much, over 300 custom military gear options, its kinda insane how much we have on here...

TRADERS - Map markers can be found on the map when static markers are enabled. Every Item from every mod is in the traders besides a few like the Saw249, AS-50 and a couple others that can only be found in air drops.

BASES - Have every base building mod available on the server and have adjusted, you have no clipping on item placement so enjoy building making your new base your way! Also highjack a house fine, highjack a barn fine but do not make a base on top of a military zone or within 200m of any military loot.

MAP - You can activate the map at any time by pressing M and turn static markers on to see the traders and marked areas.

GLOBAL CHAT - Global chat is in to communicate with the other in the world by pressing T.

How did u get this to run on the server now ?
I'm using G-Portal either but there is no changing on any location on the Map :/

Cant find the problem, why it dont work

Its not a mod, took me a bit to figure out since I was starting out at the time..
but many extra zombie spawn points added to the current default amount of zombie spawns, But you have to copy and paste the info and add it to the current zombie spawns zombie_territories.xml file. No need to load it as a mod to your server.

THIS MOD IS OBSOLETE, HOWEVER YOU CAN STILL USE XML WHAT I HAVE PROVIDED. IN THAT CASE YOU DONT NEED MOD AT ALL AND EVERYTHING IS SERVER SIDE.
