Enhanced Survival Challenged 2.61 (increased difficulty)

Reporting on my first proper run with enhanced survival, I'm having a blast!
Firstly I want to point out I'm also using the "more bountys" mod, it just attaches low bounties to more outlaws, so once every 3 / 4 groups of starving bandits you run into one that will have 2 bounties between 250 cats and 900, it just seems reasonable to me and in most cases it's still worst than slave hunting; back to enhanced survival.

Started as "guy with a dog" in order to have an extra character, it's a start I never use, noticed we are both starving and I have 13 cats, great.

Luckily I ran into a battle between the HN and UC, looted what I could and in Drin I got about enough so we wouldn't starve, after dodging some soldiers who realized I was homeless I started making my track to the much safer Holy Nation.

Things did not improve much after that, we were always on the brink of starvation and I couldn't manage to save enough to recruit anyone, I decided to go to the Hub in order to find Hobbs but he didn't spawn, I gave my last piece of dried meat to Bonedoggo deciding to risk starvation and use the 3k cats I somehow managed to save to recruit Khalid in Stack.

It's now been 18 days, we managed to get a girl on board too and we are finally finding some stability, I bought a dilapidated shack for cheap in Stack and we are managing to make a living selling dried meat we don't necessarily need to stay alive and some cooked vegetables from ingredients sourced at nearby holy farms, I would love to recruit Beep or save enough to get someone else but I simply can't afford to feed another mouth.

In conclusion:
I still feel this mod is for expert players only, if you don't know where to go staying alive will be very hard. To me though, this is an 11/10 mod, it's gritty, stories are meaningful again and it injected new life into the game.
