If it would not be to difficult, could you make a compatibility mod for gwens, mostly so that the habitat buildings for spaceborn is available on the dyson swarm?
Edit: Perhaps even do it so you start on a dyson swarm instead of a habitat?

When Iam done bugfixing and writing compatability patches I will add a civic that allows you to start on a dyson swarm. I want to iron out all the problems with the mod right now before adding something new. I will look into making a patch for gwens though

Iam almost done with the new starting civic, update should drop soon. Then I will start working on gwen compatability :)

Can you please make a realisic Dyson Swarm? Basically mirrors orbiting the star and reflecting the light onto a solar panel array. It would be a cheaper version of a Dyson Sphere, generating less energy but still significant in early game. Would also be great if amount of energy depended on the star class. Probably should take both minerals and alloys to build since mirrors are mostly silicon and aluminum.

@AtomicBlastPony2B This mod concentrates more on the aspect of creating more living area in space, rather than collecting energy simlarly to the dyson sphere. I thought that that would have been kind of redundant, since such a megastructure already existst. And to be honest, I dont have the skill to create the models for that. But making different starclasses affect how much energy is collected by solar panels is a great idea! I will probably implement this at some point

i have a request, i don't know how easy it is to fill though; a decision to 'terraform' a planet into a dyson swarm in a system that doesn't have one yet. I want this because i play with several mods that add interesting features to planets and i'd like to be able to do a swarm only race and still have access to those features

Since you've made dyson start civics for both normal and Machine Intelligence empires, any thoughts on doing one for Hive Minds?

I got an idea for you. A Lost Home start specific to Megacorps, where the Megacorp itself is all that's left of the planet after they literally bled it dry of resources, instead of the standard one where they had a war that destroyed everything. Possibly hinting that they deliberately sabotaged the ability for anyone else to get off and leaving them the only ones able to create the Swarm, allowing them to profit off of the evacuation.

The branching storyline options would be remaining a society that still consumes without care, ravaging the planets they live on, or realizing that some consideration for the environment of the worlds they live on will be better for all involved.

One choice would lead to pushback from whatever shareholder equivalent a Megacorp would have due to lower profits overall, while the other would cause pushback from those not directly associated with the Megacorp due to not wanting to destroy other planets the way they did their own.

@Jin_Cardassian @Vonriel Once I get back to this mod, I will probably add civics for hives and megacorps. Also, your idea for the corps is great. A society with a resource empty homeplanet, that relies on one corp to produce almost everything - and the player decides, if he wants to go one step further and just make the planet uninhabitable to make money of the evac. Yeah, I think that could work

Smithy you should make maybe a special Hive-mind dyson swarm option like "systemary swarmers" where you start in a dyson swarm with like special structure/districts for the Hive-mind type like "gestation facility(s)" where can have more than one of those spawn pools (I think that's what they're called.) to increase your pops really fast, but the downside is you'll eventually need to expand like instead of a max of 51 districts you can only have 20-30 and you can't colonize planets, but you can use some special structure to get alot of resources, unity, whatever off of it that could correlate with how many X district slots the planet has or the type of habitable world. I shall Subscribe and maybe do a run with the mod! it is a neat concept, at least. :)
