Could there be a version compatible with The Great War mod? It's a really laggy mod as well and it would be great to have this for it.

i want it to work with the cold war mod but there arent many neutral countries in it

Brilliant idea. I don't suppose you could find a way to "un-annex" a country should the player want to get them involved?

it may already work with the Great War mod if the developers didnt mess with the country tags too much, but im still figuring compatability with this mod

youre right. The problem is if there arent enough neutral nations just sitting around, then annexing them would barely change the game speed

a cold war idea: the ability to rechose who is neutral and who isnt every decade, much like the focuses. Could be useful when a decade for a nation arrives and when it passes

Suggestion: Have 2 options. One of them does what the mod currently does - changes countries to neutral. The 2nd option is to split the territory of chosen countries between others, so the land is not completely useless. For example, Saudi Arabia and Iraq could be split between Yemen, Turkey UK and France / Italy.
Can you uninclude Iran? It was occupied by Anglo-Soviet forces during the war.

it also breaks the Millenium Dawn mod.
Is there a way to get countries removed even if they are not neutrals or a way to add annexation of non-standard political factions-run countries?

yeah... i was thinking this mod would work with those types of mods but i guess not.

i could add a feature to annex countries, as there is already a way to release them from neutrality.

i updated the mod to hopefully make it more compatible with other mods now

There's a issue where I can't see decisions besides the default ones with the mod on.

Can you add a button to quickly hide all the un-annex options? To make it handier to get rid of the notifications.

Hey there, now that LaR is out it would be great if you changed the mod in a way that it adds cores or 100% compliance on every Neutral-annexed state. 65%-70% resistance in half of the world causes a lot of lag with all the resistance/effect rolls each day for every individual province. I compared it to a save file where I annexed and cored all of South America into Columbia via console commands and it ran noticeably smoother.

This would also solve the problem with Neutral having no access to annexed resources due to 0% compliance, which removes these resources from the world market.

A split into two neutral nations would also be helpful - one for south America, and one for the middle east + the Tibet group. I always release Iraq and Iran manually because otherwise the Axis has to buy the middle east oil over Atlantic routes (since Neutral's capital is in south America), where it gets easily intercepted by Allied submarines.
