I am unable to place it down. I have it crafted but when attempting to place nothing happens besides the clicking sound.

You will need to delete them. Then you should go into steam settings and delete your download cache. Then run Ark and let the mod re-install.

I recommend testing the local copy of the files in single player. First with just this mod and then again with the mods you normaly play with.

If your on a server and you've validated that your local files are ok I recommend uploading the files from your computer to the server (if your the server admin).

If after doing this several times you are unable to get a clean download from Steam I have listed a direct link in the descreiption to my Google drive which has a current copy of the mod files.

I had done what you suggested but I am still unable to place the altar down, this is just in my singler player world though. I should have also mentioned i am doing this on the DLC map and there was some kind of update on the 29th for my game. I don't know what the update was for because they did not post anything or any reason about it.

I did the google link install and followed the steps. Deleted the files, cleared DL cache, ran the game. Unless you actually meant i had to run ARK? I didn't run that game i just assumed you meant DNL

My bad yes. DNL. Let's start from scratch. My bad entirely. There is a known issue I beleive I mentioned it in the comment section, if not I will. At the moment when you first get the altar you will probably not be able to place it. If/When this occurs logout and back in (it needs to be in your inventory when you login) then it will let you place it.

I am working on the issue.

I noticed that when my server restarts, the graves all disappear. Is there a way to fix this?

@SirChristo I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. Did you setup any ini settings?
