Beginner Lore from S1-
The world was founded by the three guardians: Snow, Desert, and Forest. They made the sky, land, and sea. They are the protectors of all that is living and dead. When man was created, they were to live and frolic amongst its fellow creatures of this world, in peace and harmony. However, their creatures have grown and strengthened. Using the Guardian's work of art for their gain, destroying the forests, taking apart the land for their houses, and supplies. Draining the life that the guardians protected. It was not allowed. The guardians with anger in their eyes started a war against their children. The children united against their gods, to defeat them. After the long war, the creatures had won, they began colonizing, building civilizations and cities, each race separating from the rest, proving to one another that they were the best. Wars and battles began between the races. Hatred in each other's eyes to beat one another. Civilizations had fallen. The rubble and a few children of each race remain to rebuild the world that they were left in. The grounds began to shake, as if the guardians of their world, might possibly still be around.

The current lore:

The land of Eretora was home to creatures and races of all kinds. There was a time when they all lived in harmony, a time of peace.. but as time grew, so did their greed. As each race evolved with knowledge and grew in technology, greed took over and each became ravenousness for more territory and power. Wars raged between the races, lives were lost and lands laid to waste. During the last war, disaster struck.. an old and destructive spell was cast by a mage with the intentions of doing good. She had hastily read about a spell that supposedly ended all wars but little did she know that it meant wiping out all the entire population. A great inferno rose up in the west and wiped everything out in its path. The unquenchable fire rapidly grew in size as it engulfed everything across the land. Each race put aside their differences and downed their weapons in order to escape with their lives. Survivors made their way east where the land was yet to be touched by the angry barrage. Here they worked together to make a grand ship to escape and journey forth to find new land to call home.

The journey was harsh and perilous causing lives to be lost by the unknown sea. Rations were getting low and morale almost non-existent which led to tempers flaring up between the races on board. When all hope seemed lost and they thought they would perish on this boat in the distance, land was spotted. Finally docked at their new safe haven hope was restored to the hearts of the survivors. Now they face the task of navigating this uncharted land without the technology they had grown so accustomed to using and have to start from the beginning again. Who knows what they may run into..

The most important of which was the power that lied in the ancient, almost unworldly, artifacts that were scattered across the land. The natives explained their powers fueled the large monoliths that floated in the sky. There were four of these great obelisks each representing an element. Red for fire, blue for water, green for earth, and yellow for air. Each year, for continued peace and prosperity in the land, the natives had a ceremony where they would offer up the assembled artifacts as well as gifts and trophies. Map: Abberation

The Federation of Unified Systems

The Federation of Unified Systems is the unified collective alliance of various interstellar nations which exist in the Milkyway Galaxy. The Federation was unified under the Marineris Accord which took place on Valles Marineris, Mars, 001 BFF. The Federation’s structure has two representatives from each nation present to vote on federation mandates, laws and regulations, including the deployment of the TEK Corps to suppress rebellions, provide aid, or monitor penal colonies. Each individual system and nation in the federation has, in essence, full autonomy but more and more the federation has exercised control over member systems. There are currently 12 sectors under the direct control of the federation out of the 72 systems which make up the milky way galaxy (excluding the 4 unexplored “Frontier” systems which are under Federation Mandate.) The Federation has recently begun to deal with more and more problems ranging from corruption, unemployment and claims of civil right violations against certain populations, especially primitive sentient lifeforms. In the past 4 decades a total of 5 revolts have occurred, the largest of which included 7 systems known as the 7-Series rebellion wherein a series of sentient androids of various makes and models rebelled against the organic governments and corporations which led them and sought to secede from the Federation. Despite the fact that the rebellion was put down, terror cells of 7-Series and so-called “Synthetic Separationists” are rampant and are constantly engaged in acts of terror. The TEK Corps have done their best to keep the vast majority of these actions hidden from the public but the tension in the federation and the mounting problems have not gone unnoticed from certain actors, populist and oligarchal, who may attempt to seize power in the event of a civil conflict. For now, the Federation is secured and it seems it isn’t going anywhere just yet.

The TEK Corps

The TEK Corps are the Federation’s enforcers. Made up of many different species and volunteer mercenary groups, the TEK Corps regulate trade, combat crime and put down rebellions in the Federation. The Corps are led by the Council of 5, a secretive group of high ranking soldiers from the Federation’s militaries. Together they decide how to allocate resources and plan strategies in operations. Due to the years of inactivity and the influx of criminal conscripts, the TEK Corps have found themselves muddled with corruption, drugs and illicit activities. As such, the Co5 passed Order #3830: “Any soldier found engaging in corruption is to be punished as the local commanders deem fit. Any commander found engaging in corruption shall be stripped of their rank and sent to a penal colony for 5 years penance. Any Admiral or General found in engaging in corruption or treason shall be executed publicly or made an example of as the Co5 deem fit.”

Pheron 557N

Pheron 557N was founded in 230 FF as a mining colony for the Mel’Kara corporation until the company went belly up. To cover the expenses of closing shop, the company sold many of it’s Frontier colonies to the Federation government in exchange for debt forgiveness. Pheron 557N has been a place of great study for archaeological societies around the federation due to the large amount of ruins from an ancient civilization from the outer reaches of space. The most peculiar thing has been the lack of manual interfaces in consoles, they can only be activated with a certain frequency transmitted via radio waves leading many experts to believe the species that inhabited them may have been mostly telepathic. The miners on the colony are said to have gone mad from whispers under the crust and even today some prisoners have been reported with above average hostility. The federation however has written these as simply superstition and that the hostility and madness are more from local hallucinogenic spores in the atmosphere.

Decades have passed since the discovery of what was once considered lost technology on the islands of Hope. Those who had come to the islands began to leave in search of new adventure or to return home, taking with them the technology that had become interwoven with their daily lives. The world embraced this newly found knowledge and concepts for machines, utilizing them in ways never thought possible, and embracing the changes that came with it. Travel, weaponry, structures, and so much more excelled. What some of history shall consider a primitive religious expedition to undiscovered land, was what led into the next step in technological evolution, and a golden age for several races.

A variety or races embraced the advancements, while others refused to or lacked the means to do so. Access to the rest of the world became more available with better ships and defenses. New lands were discovered along with stories to follow. Among all of the lands found, one stuck out the most. Remnants of the same technology discovered decades ago covered parts of this land. Synthetic beasts, broken down landscapes, and tower-like obelisks similar to the ones before found on the Hope Islands were decaying along with the land. Races and life forms from all over swarmed here after word of the technology’s presence spread. Some in hopes of taking advantage of the remnants discovered. Some in an effort to create a new life for themselves. Civilization begins to fill the shores, mountains, and fields once again.

The future of this land remains unseen, and as sentient life begins to flourish here only time will tell if the discovery from Hope and the discovery from this land will be for the best. A new life for many begins. Will they continue the acceleration of life itself, or crumble down from the test of time like the ones who filled this land previously? Will adventurers pure of heart rise above, or will the crooked stomp down the hopes of all? Those who arrive on these shores will be able to determine the fate of themselves, this land, and the ones they meet.

Der Drachen Allvater Phaarthunax flog über den Himmel der Insel.. mitten über den Meer hört man den bestialischen Schrei des Drachen und er stürzt in das Meer hinab, das finstere Lachen einer Frau ertont über der Welt.. wenige Sekunden später bricht der Allvater aus dem Meer herauf .. seine Schuppen .. rot wie Blut, seine Augen spiegeln das pure Böse wieder. In the beginning of mankind’s existence there was fear. Fear of darkness. Fear of the creatures who hunted them. Fear of what they did not know.

But time passed and humans learned: to keep the darkness away, to tame the lizard beasts and the bird beasts, to create mythos to comfort them and assuage their fears of the unknown.

Humans continued to grow in knowledge and the tools they used propelled them toward an existence of comfort and culture. And yet, mankind has always held malice and greed in its heart. Together they learned to survive the dangers that the universe presented, but it wasn’t enough to survive anymore, they had to conquer, not only each other but Earth.

Despite everything that wished to end it, humanity survived the darkness and survived the predators. It survived it’s own inhumanities.

The year is 2084 and the past 89 years have been the closest that mankind has come to it’s inevitable end. In 1995, the world, fueled by materialistic greed and an ambitious disregard for the limited supply of resources, began to see the horrific effects of climate change that politicians and megacorporations had been willfully ignoring.

Some areas experienced heat waves that were so intense entire bodies of water began to dwindle into evaporation. Forest fires burned across the land and those called to quell them died in their desperate attempts to save lives and homes. Other areas were plunged into frigid temperatures. Endless snow burying the dead in the shelters they huddled in for warmth. The first casualties were young children, the infirm and the homeless, but the more able-bodied adults were not immune. Hurricanes, tsunamis, tornados… the casualties grew, the desperation grew.

The dinosaurs mankind had long relied on for sources of labor, food and companionship were left neglected and often forgotten as most of humanity carelessly focused on itself.

The rich and powerful were not so touched by the consequences of Earth’s response to fossil fuels and strip mining and destructive chemicals. They had the resources to counter the heat and the cold, to avoid the tornadoes and tsunamis, the earthquakes and hurricanes. The money to fly and stay in the few locations the climate crisis hadn’t yet tortured.

Those left to deal with their dying loved ones and their own imminent death revolted first against their bosses and then their leaders as they realized there would be no relief, nor compassion. Those with power and comfort were desperately holding on to what they had and willing to destroy to save it. The ensuing revolutions and horrific responses led to near extinction for humanity.

It took 10 years for the global powers to dissolve into anarchy, but it took longer for the memory of what they were to fade. The abandoned dinosaurs returned to their wild ways and wandered the land to survive, just as the humans did. Memories of what man once knew were passed down, but much was lost. Infrastructure was now useless, gasoline supplies dwindled and were hoarded, vehicle transportation became almost non-existent.

The world is in shambles and the people who remain exist on a tenuous thread. Surviving in any way they can.

A settlement has grown in the remnants of the city. A place of relative safety and comfort that can offer shelter and supplies. Many begin their journey here. Somewhere to gather yourself before you venture to create a home.

The remainder of humanity renewed its bonds with the dinosaurs, taming and training them to protect, to attack, to transport. The leaders of the various communities agreed on a means to settle disputes and to entertain. Battles. Each week the various dinosaur trainers gather to pit their biggest, baddest creatures against one another. A popular event to keep the bloodlust of some satiated and to distract others from the uncertainty of everyday existence in a post-apocalyptic world.

Who are you? Did your family pass down the lessons of preservation that could have prevented Earth’s retaliation? Have you taken advantage of the weak, are you following in the footsteps of the megacorps and taking what you want when you want it? Do you help those in need or are you guarded against anyone you don’t know? How will you survive?

The humans of the Iridami Empire wage war against the magical races of Taelas. Once-peaceful neighbors have been embroiled in five years of constant warfare, eventually forcing the Taelasians to flee their home continent of Adesia in search of sanctuary from their former human allies. Though the exact reasons behind the breaking of a thousand years of peace is not yet known, the survivors now must focus on enduring the untamed wilds of Laeros, a mysterious island beyond the misty veil of the Endless Sea. **Launching Sunday 20th March**

The Unknown Isle RP is an upcoming RP server on the Ragnarok map but with a difference! There is magic, mythical creatures and plenty of mayhem, This isn't the Ragnarok you know.

Unknown Isle RP is the second season and continuation of the story we had on Deiras Kingdoms RP, it was so successful we had to do another!.
We have a large player base and experienced admins who know how to run a server effectively with a fair and unbiased attitude.

We are a medieval based server and have removed most of the “Dinosaurs'' to make a more realistic and unique LOTR/DND type world. Don't worry though there are plenty of animals to tame with the Shads atlas imports, Marnii wildlife and other map critters with simple spawners!

Some key points to our server:

-We have elemental magic that players can use straight from the get go!
-A mod that allows you to look like one of the amazing races we have available!
-Animals from other maps plus some great modded creatures to keep you busy taming!
-There will be some progression element to our server eventually leading up to a working economy with the capitalism mods!
-No forced tribes or specific build areas, you are free to roam where you like!
-Changes to some of the environment in Ragnarok, custom biomes and such!
